Early in the morning transfer from your hotel and flight from Caracas or Isla Margarita to Los Roques. After a short flight you will land on Gran Roque, where you will spend the next two nights in a comfortable posada and your days dreaming the Caribbean dream aboard a sailing catamaran, cruising through this spectacular archipelago. Los Roques, one of the biggest National Parks in the Caribbean, is a paradise for snorkeling, diving or relaxing in the Sun. During the cruise the Catamaran will stop for snorkeling (equipment available for a small fee) over some of the multicolored coral reefs that surround the keys. Afterwards you will visit one of the fabulous beaches of white sands and crystal-clear waters. Lunch will be served on the catamaran. In the evening return to Gran Roque and overnight stay at the posada.

DAY 3 – Jungle and Piranhas
Early morning flight to Maturín. Transfer by bus and boat to the jungle-camp in the Orinoco-Delta, home of the Warao Indians. During the boat trip you will be able to see the huts of the Waraos. The delta is characterized by dense jungle and its incredible variety of animals. It is home to ant-eaters, howler monkeys, river dolphins, crocodiles, piranhas, turtles, many colorful butterflies and is, with its population of more than 300 species of birds, a paradise for birdwatchers. The camp is built on one of the few firm areas of this swampy region. Possible activities: boat journey, piranha fishing, jungle-walk. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp. (B/L/D)
DAY 4, DAY 5 and DAY 6 – Waterfalls and Table Top Mountains
Transfer to Maturín and flight to Canaima. The airplane will, weather permitting, overfly Angel Fall, with almost 1000m the highest cataract in the world. During a boat trip on Canaima Lagoon you will be able to marvel at the many waterfalls of extraordinary beauty and the luscious vegetation. After the boat trip we will fly to Camp Arekuna, which is located on the shore of the river Caroní where we will spend the next two nights. Overnight stay in the camp. On the next day, you will have the opportunity to join one of the many excursions on offer. Examples are a visit to the Babas Fall, exploring the jungle by boat, a jungle trek or a visit to pre-Columbiam petroglyphes that have never been attributed to any known people. Final night in the camp. After breakfast you can join again one of the various excursions are offered in the surroundings. Lunch in camp. In the afternoon return flight from Arekuna to Caracas or Isla Margarita and transfer to your hotel. Day 4 & 5 (B/L/D), Day 6 (B/L/-)
